 La Union Trip

Though this blog entry is long delayed since this was last January when we we're heading to Baguio. I thought it would be the perfect time to put this up since summer is finally here! And maybe give you ideas where you can go this coming summer. When it comes to beach trips you don't necessarily have to fly out. There are places like La Union that you can visit in a matter of a few hours.

My sister thought that it would be great idea to stop over in La Union specifically in Flotsam and Jetsam since we all haven't been there. Also, I've been dying to see this place ever since I've seen people post in social media about it. It just looked so artsy and the beach looks to die for.

La Union is known for a surfer's paradise. So if you're a surfer, this is definitely your spot. And if you're an adventurer like me who just wants to lay around in the beach and bask under the sun, this trip just might be for you. Especially Flotsam and Jetsam is just right beside the beach. Flotsam and Jetsam is such a chill and hip place. Great food, chill ambiance especially with all the bean bags laying around, and every corner is Instagram worthy. Believe me.

(The photos will explain what I'm talking about)

One of the best coffee shops I've been to - El Union Coffee. Absolutely the best tasting s'mores I've eaten and very affordable compared to the ones in the city. This place is also walking distance from Flotsam and Jetsam and you really wouldn't mind the walk since it's by the beach. We all decided to go here and kill time while my sister finishes her surf session. We all drank ice coffee since the weather was crazy sizzling hot.

This coffee shop is photogenic in every corner and the staff are absolutely friendly and accommodating as well. Definitely a place you should try when visiting La Union.
