I have to be honest. This is my first time to join a Nuffnang contest. Exciting and nervous all at the same time, do you guys know that feeling? When I saw this poster, I was instantly intrigued and I just have to check it out and give it a shot. As I browse through it thoroughly, I see that it's about travel, spaces, and interior - three of my favorite things. Oh.. the three words are like lovely birds singing to my ears. My jaw drops from all the unique accomodations in people's homes. They were absolutely amazing, each and every one of it! I find the concept very creative, and interesting since you can tell in every home that it has it's own unique character that you don't really see in hotel rooms. They are unique and witty in their own way which I just loved about it.
As for my chosen listing, my golly! It was not easy choosing from almost 1,000,000+ Airbnb listings around the world, but this one just stole my heart right away. It was like slipping on the perfect shoe with its perfect size. It completely swept me off my feet just like that. The place was lovely just how its title is and should be - The Lovely Apartment in Sants. From the photos, it sent out a very cozy vibe 100,000 miles away. A place where you could hold a family gatherings cause I love those very small intimate gatherings. I would choose that rather than a big party with a bunch of people I hardly know. Intimate gatherings are where you could just eat your heart out with no one judging you and play house games or even board games, if you're cool like that. After, you could hang by the patio surrounded by greenery, and the outdoor room designed as a relaxation area to have a couple drinks, to layback and just relax. This apartment has a sweet calm, a sweet sweet calm after the storm. From The choice of colors remind me of the beach and how relaxing it is. It's like your always on a vacation mode. I love how the bathroom, living room and kitchen is landscaped. It gives you the space that you need. It's also like giving your mind a space to breathe. I could tell the room is simple yet cozy, comfortable, and very peaceful. Also, the location of the place is perfect simply because it's well-connected to the public transportation and has a lot of parks and gardens near by.
The decoration has this very modern rustic feel that works especially the fact it's in Barcelona. It really does has an ideal space for a good book and a good breakfast. One of the best part about it, it has a heater *raise the roof* and a free acess to the WIFI *raise the roof more* you know we all ask that once we get to a certain place. To sum this up, this place is promising and so serene. If I had to choose, I would choose this 100 times more.
